TEMPERATURE
Intermediate temperatures (55°-60° F/13°-15.6°C) are ideal for this orchid. During the summer, this orchid can tolerate higher temperatures if it is shaded and well-watered. Avoid, cool, wet temperatures below 55° F / 13° C.
LIGHT

WATER
Water frequently, to keep the roots from drying out, yet the potting mix should never be soggy. When watering take care to avoid water on the leaves.
FERTILIZATION
Apply balanced fertilizer three out of four weeks. On the fourth week, flood the potting media to rinse fertilizer salts. If the orchid is potted in bark, use a high nitrogen fertilizer (9-3-6).
POTTING & MEDIA
This orchid grows well in a slightly water-retentive, yet free-draining mix. For best results, use fir-bark based potting media mixed with small amounts of wool rock. Remember, the roots should never completely dry out, yet the potting mix should never be sodden.
